Reports to: Business Development Manager
Objective:
To estimate the value of projects being tendered as part of the Business Development function.
Qualification:
B.E. in Civil Engineering
Roles & Responsibilities:
Scrutinize and review tender documents.
Evaluate tender documents, drawings, and schedules.
Float enquiries to suppliers/manufacturers and follow up for quotations.
Conduct comparison studies based on suppliers’ quotations.
Negotiate with suppliers on both technical and commercial aspects.
Perform value engineering studies in line with clients’ budget constraints.
Maintain suppliers/manufacturers data bank records.
Delegate tasks to draftsmen for quantity take-offs and verify quantities.
Prepare pricing for infrastructure and building works.
Assist in compiling and preparing tender submissions.
Develop pre-qualification documents, both standard and project-specific.
