About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Project Engineer – Civil to join our project management team. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, supervising, and executing civil works in accordance with project requirements, industry standards, and safety regulations. This role requires close coordination with consultants, contractors, vendors, and internal stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
• Review and interpret civil engineering drawings, technical specifications, and project documents.
• Supervise and monitor civil construction activities to ensure compliance with design and quality standards.
• Coordinate with consultants, contractors, vendors, and subcontractors for smooth project execution.
• Prepare and maintain project schedules, progress reports, and relevant documentation.
• Ensure strict adherence to health, safety, and environmental standards at the project site.
• Assist in procurement activities by evaluating technical proposals and coordinating with the supply chain team.
• Identify risks, propose solutions, and resolve technical and site-related issues promptly.
• Support project close-out activities including testing, commissioning, and final handover.
Qualifications & Requirements:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering (Master’s degree is an advantage).
• Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in civil construction and project management (infrastructure/industrial/building projects preferred).
• Strong knowledge of civil engineering standards, codes, and best practices.
• Proficiency in project management tools (MS Project/Primavera), AutoCAD, and MS Office Suite.
• Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to lead and coordinate multi-disciplinary teams.
• Professional certification (e.g., PMP, PMI, or equivalent) is an added advantage.
