Job Summary:
We are seeking experienced and detail-oriented Tender Engineers to join our team in Al -Khobar. The ideal candidates will be responsible for managing the tendering process, preparing technical and commercial proposals, and ensuring timely and accurate submission of tenders for major construction and infrastructure projects.
Key Responsibilities:
• Review and analyze tender documents, specifications, drawings, and other technical documents.
• Prepare and coordinate technical and commercial proposals in compliance with client requirements.
• Liaise with internal departments (design, estimation, planning, procurement) for data collection and cost inputs.
• Attend pre-tender meetings and site visits when necessary.
• Ensure proper risk assessment and pricing strategies are considered in all tenders.
• Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers for quotations and technical submissions.
• Prepare and maintain a database of cost estimates and tender documentation.
• Participate in bid clarification meetings and provide support during contract negotiations.
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s Degree in the relevant engineering discipline (Civil, Architectural, Electrical, Mechanical) or equivalent.
• Minimum 8 to 10 years of experience in a tendering or estimation role within a construction or engineering company.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and relevant engineering/tendering software (e.g., AutoCAD, Primavera, MS Project, etc.).
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
Preferred Candidate:
• Currently based in Saudi Arabia with a transferable Iqama (preferred).
