Role Overview
We are currently seeking a skilled and motivated Quantity Surveyor to join our London team. In this role, you will oversee the commercial and contractual aspects of construction projects, ensuring value for money, managing costs, and maintaining quality and compliance throughout the project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and manage cost estimates, budgets, and tender documents.
Monitor project finances and ensure cost control throughout project phases.
Conduct feasibility studies, risk assessments, and value engineering.
Collaborate with contractors, suppliers, and internal project teams.
Review contracts and ensure legal and regulatory compliance.
Manage variations, valuations, and project reporting.
Provide regular cost reports and forecasts to stakeholders.
Requirements
Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.
Proven experience in quantity surveying within the construction industry.
Strong understanding of construction processes, materials, and UK building regulations.
Proficiency in cost estimation tools and Microsoft Office Suite.
Excellent negotiation, communication, and analytical skills.
