Non-Conformance Management: Identify, document, and monitor non-conformances or defects, and coordinate with relevant teams to ensure timely and appropriate corrective actions are taken and resolved.

Punch List Management: Establish and manage the project's punch list system, identifying and tracking items that need correction before project completion.

Offshore-Specific Tasks

Subsea Equipment Oversight: Perform QA/QC inspections for subsea umbilical's, risers, and manifolds.

Fabrication & Installation Checks: Oversee Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT), Site Integration Testing (SIT), and Electrical Factory Acceptance Testing (EFAT) at vendor and fabrication yards.

Structure & Welding Inspection: Conduct dry surveys and welding inspections for structures, compartments, and steelworks on the offshore platform.

Equipment & System Checks: Inspect and test various systems, including HVAC, fire water, and sprinkler systems, and check for corrosion and material issues.

2. Electrical QC Inspector : 1 Nos

Job Responsibility:

An Electrical QC Inspector in an offshore environment ensures electrical and instrumentation (E&I) systems and installations comply with project specifications, industry standards, and codes through inspections, testing, and documentation review. Responsibilities include checking the quality of installed components like cables, switchgear, and control systems; verifying that tests (e.g., insulation resistance, loop checks) are performed correctly; reviewing and approving quality documents such as Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs); and ensuring all inspections and activities are properly documented for handover.

General responsibilities:

Safety and compliance: Adhere to and promote the highest health, safety, and environmental (HSE) standards. Actively participate in safety meetings and risk assessments.

Documentation control: Prepare, review, and maintain quality records, inspection reports, and final handover documents (dossiers).

Collaboration: Coordinate with construction teams, clients, third-party inspectors, and subcontractors to resolve quality issues and ensure compliance with the project's quality plan.

Problem-solving: Identify and document non-conformance issues (NCRs), assist with root cause analysis, and monitor corrective actions until the issue is rectified.

Pre-construction phase

Document review: Review and verify project documents, such as engineering drawings, technical specifications, Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), and Method Statements.

Vendor inspection: Conduct audits and inspections of vendors and subcontractors to ensure materials and components meet the required quality standards before they are shipped offshore.

Material inspection: Inspect incoming electrical and instrumentation materials to ensure they are the correct type and are free of damage.

Construction and installation phase

Installation inspection: Perform visual inspections of electrical installations, including conduit, cable trays, grounding systems, and cable terminations.

Cable inspection: Monitor cable laying, cable pulling, and cable identification to confirm adherence to project specifications.

Equipment inspection: Inspect the installation of various equipment, such as switchgear, junction boxes, control panels, transformers, and lighting systems.

Witness testing: Observe and verify tests performed by contractors, such as insulation resistance (meggering), continuity, and earth resistance tests.

Punch listing: Create and manage punch lists, which are records of outstanding or defective work that needs to be completed or corrected.

Pre-commissioning and commissioning phase

Loop checks: Perform loop checks to ensure that the physical wiring of instrument loops corresponds correctly with the system documentation.

Functional testing: Witness functional tests of instruments, control systems, and safety devices to verify they operate as designed.

System handover: Support the handover process by ensuring all final inspections and documentation are completed to achieve mechanical completion.

Final Acceptance Testing (FAT/SAT): Participate in and witness Factory Acceptance Testing and Site Acceptance Testing for electrical and instrumentation packages.

Key skills and certifications:

Experience in offshore or marine projects, with specific knowledge of relevant industry codes and standards (e.g., IEC, API, NEC).

Certification in hazardous areas (e.g., CompEx) may be required for oil and gas projects.

Relevant trade or engineering qualifications and quality certifications (e.g., ISO 9001).

Valid offshore safety certifications, such as Basic Offshore Safety Induction and Emergency Training (BOSIET).

Required Docs: Scan Iqama + Digital , Passport Copy & Visa Page, latest Date Muqeem / 3 Months Validity, Blood Group, Vaccine Report, Service Agreement , Aramco vendor code & BOSIET Card.
