We are expanding our team and seeking a highly motivated Procurement Engineer who can bring strong market knowledge, supplier relationships, and proven procurement expertise to our growing operations.

Position Overview

The Procurement Engineer will be responsible for managing end-to-end procurement activities — from sourcing materials and evaluating suppliers to negotiating contracts and ensuring timely delivery. The role requires a proactive professional with an established supplier base and in-depth knowledge of the Saudi Arabian market.

This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, project-driven environment and has the initiative to drive cost efficiency and supplier performance.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and implement effective procurement strategies aligned with project and company objectives.

Source, evaluate, and qualify suppliers and manufacturers within Saudi Arabia and abroad.

Build and maintain a strong supplier network — minimum of 250 suppliers and manufacturers.

Request quotations, analyze bids, and negotiate terms, prices, and delivery schedules.

Ensure timely procurement and delivery of materials in line with project timelines.

Coordinate with engineering, project management, and finance teams to ensure procurement alignment with technical and budgetary requirements.

Maintain supplier records, performance evaluations, and procurement documentation.

Continuously explore alternative sources and materials to optimize cost and quality.

Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and local regulations.

Qualifications & Experience

Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.

Minimum 3 years of experience in procurement or supply chain within Saudi Arabia.

Proven track record in sourcing materials for construction, engineering, or industrial projects.

Strong network of suppliers and manufacturers in the Saudi market.

Excellent negotiation, analytical, and communication skills.

Proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Office tools.

Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
