We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Civil Construction Engineer to lead our on-site team and ensure the successful delivery of our prestigious projects.

Job Summary

We are looking for a proficient Civil Engineer with extensive experience in high-end civil construction works. Civil engineers' responsible of planning, designing, constructing, and maintaining infrastructure such as buildings like villas, hotels, shopping mall public works systems. They analyze project requirements, create detailed designs and blueprints using computer software, conduct site analyses and surveys, manage budgets and timelines, ensure projects meet safety and quality standards, and oversee construction activities. Civil engineer also manage teams, coordinate with various stakeholders, ensure compliance with regulations, and solve unforeseen construction challenges to deliver functional and safe infrastructure. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supervising the construction site, coordinating tasks, and ensuring that all work is completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Exceptional command of the English language is mandatory for clear communication with management, clients, and multi-national workforce.

Key Responsibilities

1. Site Supervision & Execution:

• Supervise and lead a team of workers, subcontractors, and tradesmen on-site for all construction activities (e.g., managing and supervising site activities, ensuring structural integrity and quality control, managing budgets and schedules, ensuring compliance with regulations and safety standards, and resolving emerging technical problems. They monitor site progress, inspect work like concrete pouring and rebar placement, and provide technical guidance to ensure the project adheres to designs and specifications.

• Interpret architectural drawings, shop drawings, and technical specifications accurately to guide the team.

• Ensure all work is executed in strict compliance with the approved designs, methods, and quality standards.

2. Planning & Coordination:

• Assist the Project Manager in planning daily and weekly work schedules, allocating tasks, and ensuring optimal utilization.

• Coordinate the delivery, storage, and handling of materials on-site to prevent damage and ensure availability as per the schedule.

• Liaise with other departments (MEP, HVAC, etc.) to ensure seamless integration of all elements.

3. Quality Control & Inspection:

• Conduct regular inspections to ensure all work meets the project's quality specifications and industry best practices.

• Identify and rectify any defects or sub-standard work immediately.

• Maintain detailed records of work progress, inspections, and quality checks.

4. Communication & Reporting:

• Act as the primary point of communication on-site for the client's representatives, consultants, and project management team.

• Provide clear, daily, and weekly progress reports in English to the Project Manager.

• Conduct toolbox talks and site meetings with the workforce, ensuring instructions are understood and followed.

5. Health, Safety & Environment (HSE):

• Enforce strict adherence to all company and project-specific HSE policies and procedures.

• Ensure a safe, clean, and organized work environment at all times.

• Conduct regular safety briefings and ensure all personnel use appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).

Qualifications, Skills, and Experience

• Nationality: Any Nationals

• Education: Bachelor in Civil Engineering or 3years Diploma in Civil Engineering. Relevant certifications in construction or safety (e.g., OSHA, IOSH, NEBOSH) are a plus.

• Experience: Minimum of 8-15 years of experience in the construction industry, with at least 8 years in a Civil Site Engineer role specifically within high-quality Civil work projects e.g., (commercial buildings, hotels, luxury villas, retail spaces).

• Technical Knowledge:

o In-depth, practical knowledge of all aspects of Civil Engineer works.
