Position Overview:
Gulf Namar Contracting is seeking a qualified and experienced Safety Engineer for our ongoing MODON project. The ideal candidate must have a proven background in MODON-related works and a thorough understanding of MODON safety standards and procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
Implement, monitor, and maintain safety management systems in compliance with MODON and company safety standards.
Conduct regular risk assessments, safety audits, and site inspections.
Prepare safety reports, incident investigations, and ensure timely submission to MODON and company management.
Organize and lead toolbox talks, safety meetings, and training sessions for site teams.
Coordinate with MODON officials and project management to ensure full compliance with safety requirements.
Qualifications & Experience:
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Safety, or a related discipline.
Minimum 5 years of experience in safety engineering, with at least 2 years on MODON projects.
Strong knowledge of MODON regulations and safety documentation procedures.
Valid certification in NEBOSH / IOSH / OSHA or equivalent.
Excellent communication, leadership, and reporting skills.
