?We are seeking a qualified Civil Engineer or Archaeologist (or multidisciplinary professional with experience in both fields) to join our heritage restoration and rehabilitation team working on UNESCO-listed and nominated heritage sites across Saudi Arabia.
?The successful candidate will participate in the documentation, conservation, and structural stabilization of historic buildings in accordance with UNESCO, ICOMOS, and Saudi Heritage Authority standards.

?Key Responsibilities
?
?Conduct site assessments, documentation, and condition surveys for historic and archaeological structures.
?
?Collaborate with conservation architects, engineers, and heritage consultants on structural rehabilitation and material analysis.
?
?Prepare technical reports, drawings, and method statements for restoration works.
?
?Ensure all interventions comply with UNESCO guidelines, BS 7913, and ICOMOS conservation principles.
?
?Supervise on-site teams during restoration, dismantling, and reconstruction phases.
?
?Contribute to research and training programs related to heritage conservation and cultural sustainability.

?Qualifications & Skills
?
?Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Architecture, or Archaeology (Master’s preferred).
?
?Minimum 5 years’ experience in heritage or archaeological site projects (UNESCO experience preferred).
?
?Strong understanding of traditional materials (lime mortar, stone masonry, adobe, timber, etc.).
?
?Excellent communication skills in English
(Arabic is an asset).
