MECHANICAL ENGINEER
JOB DESCRIPTION Job Title: Reports To: Mechanical Engineer Project Manager/Engineering Manager/Engineering Lead Essential Duties and Overall Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following, as other duties may be assigned: ? Works with Engineering Lead to ensure good decisions for the company and project during the process. ? Fully reviews drawings & specifications of the project. ? Understands contract documents and identifies gaps in the systems ? Reviews submittals in conformance to contract deliverables. ? Tracks submittal process timely. ? Prepare and Identifies lead times for materials purchases. ? Prepares MTO and purchase requisition. ? Have the ability to prepare piping fabrication drawings in AutoCAD and other software. ? Have the ability to prepare tie-in and hydro test packages. ? Have the ability to prepare RFI/Technical queries. ? Have the ability to prepare piping redlined/as-built drawings in AutoCAD and other software. ? Maintains and updates RFI/TQ Log. ? Maintains project document list • Reviews change order proposals for accuracy of quantities • Shows respect for duties of other team members. • Supports and interacts with Field Supervision to perform as a cohesive team. • Can identify quality issues in the field and communicate them according. Qualifications/Computer Skills: To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Microsoft Office products such as Word, Excel, Outlook, Power Point, AutoCAD software, acrobat editor. Education and/or Experience: Four (4) year degree in BS Mechanical Engineering from an accredited university or college and have experience related to field of oil and gas construction especially piping fabrication and installation & shutdown works
