We are a leading contractor for major infrastructure projects in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Electrical QC Engineer to join our dynamic team. This is a critical role focused on ensuring the highest standards of quality and safety for prestigious Overhead Transmission Line (OHTL) projects.
Conduct thorough quality control inspections and surveillance for all phases of OHTL construction, from foundation and erection to stringing and commissioning.
Ensure all materials, equipment, and workmanship comply with SEC standards, project specifications, and international quality codes (e.g., IEC, IEEE, ASTM).
Manage and maintain all QC documentation, including Inspection Request (IR) forms, Method Statements, ITPs, and checklists.
Liaise directly with SEC representatives, client engineers, and consultants during site inspections and material submittal reviews.
Identify and report any non-conformities, and oversee the implementation of corrective and preventive actions.
Perform audits of processes and suppliers to ensure continuous quality adherence.
Mandatory Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
A valid Saudi Council of Engineers (SCE) membership certificate is essential.
Proven previous project approval from the Saudi Electricity Company (SEC) is a must.
Minimum of 5+ years of hands-on QC experience, with a significant portion dedicated to Overhead Transmission Line (OHTL) projects within the Saudi Arabia.
In-depth knowledge of SEC's General Directives, Construction Manual, and technical standards.
Proficiency in relevant software and a strong command of English;
Arabic language skills are a distinct advantage.
