QC CIVIL INSPECTOR

Responsibilities:

Conduct daily site inspections for civil activities such as concrete, rebar, formwork, earthwork, blockwork, finishing, waterproofing, asphalt, and utilities.

Ensure all works comply with approved drawings, project specifications, method statements, and ITPs.

Prepare and submit RFI/WIR/MIR for consultant approval.

Inspect materials delivered on site and verify compliance with standards (ASTM, ACI, SBC, project specs).

Monitor concrete placing, curing, slump tests, sampling, compaction tests, and other field tests.

Identify non-conformities, raise NCR/SOR, and follow up for closure.

Maintain quality records such as daily reports, checklists, inspections logs, test results, etc.

Coordinate with site engineers, contractors, suppliers, and consultants.

Ensure safe and proper execution of works according to QMS standards.

Report quality issues and propose corrective actions.

Skills & Requirements:

Bachelor’s/Diploma in Civil Engineering.

5+ years of QC experience in civil/construction.

Strong knowledge of quality standards and testing procedures.

Familiar with ASTM, ACI, SBC, ISO 9001.

Good communication and documentation skills.

CIVIL QC ENGINEER

Responsibilities:

Develop, implement, and maintain the Project Quality Plan (PQP), quality procedures, and inspection test plans (ITPs).

Review and approve method statements, ITPs, material submittals, and technical documents from contractors.

Lead the QC inspectors and ensure all inspections are performed according to QMS.

Ensure material and workmanship meet project specifications and international standards.

Coordinate with consultants/clients for inspections, approvals, audits, and quality meetings.

Monitor work progress and ensure compliance at all stages of construction.

Analyze test reports (concrete cube tests, soil compaction tests, asphalt tests, etc.).

Prepare NCRs, CARs, SORs, and ensure corrective actions are implemented.

Maintain all project quality documentation for handover.

Conduct internal audits and identify areas of quality improvement.

Provide training to site teams regarding quality procedures and standards.

Skills & Requirements:

Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering.

5+ years of QA/QC experience in civil projects.

Strong knowledge of ISO standards, QMS, ASTM/ACI, SBC, and project specifications.

Excellent documentation, leadership, and communication skills.
