We are currently hiring for the Procurement Engineer with Aramco Experience.
Key Responsibilities:
• Review project specifications, drawings, and BOQs provided by engineering teams.
• Identify suitable vendors for project materials and equipment.
• Prepare RFQs and send them to approved suppliers.
• Evaluate vendor quotations based on technical compliance and commercial terms.
• Coordinate with engineering teams for technical bid evaluations.
• Compare suppliers using commercial comparison sheets.
• Negotiate prices, delivery schedules, payment terms, and warranties.
• Prepare and issue Purchase Orders according to project requirements.
• Ensure all purchase orders align with technical specifications and project timelines.
• Follow up with suppliers to ensure on-time delivery.
• Coordinate with:
• Engineering
• Project management
• Finance
• Track procurement status to support project milestones and installation schedules.
• Monitor shipment status and supplier commitments.
• Coordinate with logistics teams for import/export, customs clearance, and delivery.
• Ensure materials arrive before installation timelines.
• Update procurement trackers and provide reports to management.
• Ensure procurement within project budgets.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities through alternative suppliers or value engineering.
