Cost & Planning Engineer – Jubail (On-Site, Full-Time)
We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Cost & Planning Engineer to join our team in Jubail. This is a full-time, on-site position responsible for managing project planning, scheduling, and cost control to ensure successful project delivery.
The Cost & Planning Engineer will be responsible for developing and maintaining project schedules, monitoring progress, and analyzing project performance against budget and timelines. The role involves preparing cost estimates, tracking expenditures, and identifying potential risks or delays, along with recommending corrective actions.
In addition, the role requires close coordination with the Business Development team in the preparation of project proposals. This includes collaborating with technical teams across multiple disciplines to ensure accurate planning inputs, cost estimates, and resource allocation aligned with client requirements and project scope.
Key responsibilities include coordinating with project teams, subcontractors, and stakeholders to ensure alignment on timelines and budgets, as well as preparing regular progress and cost reports for management review.
Requirements:
Minimum of 5–7 years of experience in cost control and planning within construction or infrastructure projects
Strong proficiency in planning and scheduling tools such as Primavera P6 or MS Project
Solid experience in cost estimation, budgeting, and financial tracking
Experience supporting tendering and proposal preparation in coordination with Business Development teams
Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary technical teams to develop accurate project plans and cost inputs
Good understanding of project management principles and construction methodologies
Strong communication and coordination skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
