We are looking for a Laboratory Supervisor to oversee laboratory operations, ensure compliance with quality standards, and maintain efficient workflow across central and site laboratories. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, quality-driven, and capable of leading daily lab activities with professionalism and precision.
Key Responsibilities
-Supervise daily operations of central and site laboratories to ensure accurate and timely testing.
-Monitor equipment performance, calibration schedules, and preventive maintenance.
-Ensure proper documentation, report filing, data entry accuracy, and regular data backups.
-Conduct daily laboratory checks (balances, curing tank conditions, sample logging, and logbooks).
-Lead internal audits and ensure compliance with ISO and quality management standards.
-Issue and report non-conformities (NCRs) and coordinate with concerned departments.
-Maintain laboratory safety, cleanliness, and adherence to internal procedures.
-Coordinate with management and quality representatives to ensure smooth lab operations and compliance.
Qualifications & Requirements
-Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, Materials Engineering, or a related field.
-Minimum 3–5 years of experience in construction materials or laboratory testing.
-Strong knowledge of laboratory testing standards and ISO quality management systems.
-Experience in equipment calibration and maintenance coordination.
-Good understanding of documentation control and internal auditing processes.
-Proficiency in MS Office and laboratory reporting systems.
-Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
-Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple site laboratory activities.
