Key Responsibilities:
1. Oversee and ensure quality compliance during the installation of primary steel structures, including spatial and irregular configurations.
2. Supervise and monitor the installation of cladding systems, ensuring adherence to project specifications and industry standards.
3. Conduct inspections, testing, and documentation to verify compliance with quality standards, codes, and client requirements.
4. Prepare and maintain QA/QC documentation, including inspection reports, checklists, and non-conformance reports (NCR).
5. Coordinate with the project team, subcontractors, and consultants to resolve quality-related issues during construction.
6. Review and approve material submittals, fabrication drawings, and method statements for compliance with project requirements.
7. Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards during all stages of the project.
8. Participate in audits, both internal and external, and implement corrective actions as required.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in QA/QC roles within steel structure installation projects, including experience with spatial and irregular structures.
3. Strong knowledge of international standards such as AISC, BS, and familiarity with Saudi Arabian construction standards is a plus.
4. Hands-on experience in cladding system installation and inspection.
5. Proficiency in quality management systems and familiarity with QA/QC tools and software.
6. Excellent attention to detail and ability to work under pressure to meet project deadlines.
7. Strong communication and interpersonal skills for working with multidisciplinary teams.
8. Fluency in English is mandatory; knowledge of Arabic is an advantage.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience working on large-scale industrial or commercial steel structure projects.
- Understanding of spatial and irregular steel structure assembly and erection.
- Certification in QA/QC or welding inspection (e.g., AWS CWI, CSWIP) is a plus.
