Project Sales Engineer is responsible for identifying, developing, and securing new business opportunities within industrial sectors. The role combines technical expertise with sales and business development capabilities to promote the company's industrial services, fabrication solutions, maintenance activities, and engineering projects.
The successful candidate will build strong client relationships, manage project sales opportunities from initial inquiry through contract award, and contribute to the company's growth by achieving sales targets and expanding the customer base.
Key Responsibilities
Identify and pursue new business opportunities within industrial, petrochemical, manufacturing, and energy sectors.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, contractors, consultants, and key decision-makers.
Review RFQs, tender documents, specifications, and client requirements.
Conduct site visits, client meetings, presentations, and technical discussions.
Prepare technical and commercial proposals in coordination with engineering and operations teams.
Interpret engineering drawings, project specifications, and scope of work requirements.
Perform quantity take-offs and assist in project cost estimation when required.
Promote the company's services, including:
Mechanical Maintenance Services
Fabrication & Structural Steel Works
Industrial Equipment Services
Piping & Welding Solutions
Electrical & Industrial Support Services
Follow up on quotations, proposals, and negotiations until project award.
Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and upcoming project opportunities.
Achieve monthly and annual sales targets.
Prepare regular sales reports, forecasts, and business development plans.
Coordinate with internal departments to ensure successful project execution and customer satisfaction.
Maintain long-term relationships with existing clients and identify opportunities for repeat business.
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
Minimum 3–5 years of experience in project sales, industrial services, or business development.
Experience in industrial contracting, fabrication, maintenance, or engineering services is preferred.
Strong knowledge of rotating equipment, static equipment, fabrication works, and industrial maintenance services.
Experience in preparing technical and commercial proposals.
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and project specifications.
Strong commercial awareness and negotiation skills.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
Valid driving license is preferred.
