Position: Lead Civil Engineer

Location: Riyadh, Saudi Arabia

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Lead Civil Engineer to join our team in Riyadh. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading civil and structural engineering activities for oil and gas infrastructure projects, including both detailed design engineering and field engineering support, while ensuring compliance with Saudi Aramco standards and project requirements.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized university.

• Minimum 10–15 years of overall experience in civil and structural engineering.

• At least 5 years of experience on Saudi Aramco projects is mandatory.

• Proven experience in detailed design engineering and field engineering for oil & gas projects.

• Experience in cross-country pipeline projects is highly preferred.

• Strong knowledge of Saudi Aramco Engineering Standards (SAES), SAMSS, SAEPs, and related engineering procedures.

• Experience in civil and structural design, foundations, pipe supports, underground utilities, grading, drainage, roads, and site development works.

• Ability to review and resolve site engineering issues, field modifications, technical queries (TQs), RLMs, and construction-related challenges.

• Excellent leadership, communication, and coordination skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead civil and structural engineering activities during detailed design and construction phases.

• Review and approve engineering calculations, drawings, specifications, and technical reports.

• Provide field engineering support and resolve site technical issues in coordination with construction teams.

• Review and evaluate technical queries, field change requests, RLMs, and non-conformance reports.

• Ensure compliance with Saudi Aramco standards, project specifications, and applicable international codes.

• Coordinate with multidisciplinary engineering teams, clients, consultants, and contractors.

• Support constructability reviews, risk assessments, and value engineering initiatives.

• Mentor and guide junior engineers and designers.

Preferred Skills

• Extensive experience in oil & gas, pipeline, and infrastructure projects.

• Strong understanding of engineering design and construction interfaces.

• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

• Experience with engineering software and design tools relevant to civil and structural engineering.

Preference will be given to candidates who are available for immediate joining or can mobilize within a short notice period.
