PROJECT CONTROLS CHIEF
An exciting opportunity is available for a highly skilled and results-oriented Project Controls Chief to join a major Railway and Infrastructure Project in Saudi Arabia.
Requirements
• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum 7-10 years of professional experience in Project Controls within large-scale construction, infrastructure, or transportation projects.
• Proven experience in Railway, Metro, High-Speed Rail, or Major Infrastructure Projects is mandatory.
• Strong expertise in Project Planning, Scheduling, Cost Control, Progress Monitoring, Forecasting, Risk Management, and Performance Reporting.
• Advanced proficiency in Primavera P6 and Microsoft Excel.
• Sound understanding of project control methodologies, earned value management, and project performance analysis.
• Professional certifications such as PMP, PMI-SP, PSP, or equivalent will be considered an advantage.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead and oversee all Project Controls activities to ensure successful project delivery in line with schedule, budget, and contractual requirements.
• Develop, maintain, and monitor baseline, revised, and recovery schedules using Primavera P6.
• Establish project performance indicators and provide accurate progress measurement and forecasting.
• Prepare comprehensive weekly and monthly reports, executive dashboards, and management presentations.
• Analyze project trends, identify potential risks and delays, and recommend effective mitigation and recovery strategies.
• Monitor project costs, productivity, and overall performance to support informed decision-making.
• Support claims management, schedule impact analysis, and Extension of Time (EOT) submissions.
• Collaborate closely with Engineering, Procurement, Construction, Commercial, and Contract teams to drive project objectives and enhance performance.
• Provide leadership, guidance, and technical support to Project Controls personnel while promoting best practices and continuous improvement.
