Duties and Responsibilities
Project Planning
- Develop baseline project schedule.
- Prepare detailed construction programs.
- Develop procurement schedules.
- Prepare manpower histograms.
- Prepare equipment schedules.
Progress Monitoring
- Update schedules weekly.
- Monitor actual versus planned progress.
- Identify delays.
- Perform critical path analysis.
- Forecast completion dates.
Reporting
- Prepare weekly reports.
- Prepare monthly reports.
- Prepare recovery schedules.
- Present project progress during meetings.
- Generate S-curves.
Coordination
- Coordinate with procurement.
- Coordinate with site engineers.
- Coordinate with subcontractors.
- Coordinate with consultants.
Claims Support
- Analyze delay impacts.
- Prepare Extension of Time (EOT) support documents.
- Maintain planning records.
Software
- Primavera P6
- Microsoft Project
- Excel
- Power BI (preferred)
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering.
- 5-10 years planning experience.
- Primavera P6 certification preferred.
