YMCC (Yaseen Modern Contracting Company) is looking for an experienced Mechanical Engineer with strong experience in Infrastructure and Fire Fighting works to join our team in Saudi Arabia.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise and manage mechanical infrastructure and fire fighting works at project sites.
Review IFC drawings, shop drawings, specifications, BOQs, and technical documents.
Coordinate installation of fire water networks, fire hydrant systems, sprinkler systems, fire pumps, valves, and associated equipment.
Manage installation of underground and above-ground fire fighting pipelines and infrastructure networks.
Coordinate with civil, electrical, MEP, and other project teams.
Conduct inspections, testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting of mechanical/fire fighting systems.
Prepare and review WIRs, MIRs, method statements, material submittals, and inspection/testing reports.
Ensure work is executed according to approved drawings, project specifications, and applicable Saudi standards.
Monitor site progress, manpower, materials, and subcontractors.
Coordinate with consultants and main contractor for inspections, approvals, and technical issues.
Ensure compliance with HSE and quality requirements.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
Minimum 5–7 years of experience, preferably in Saudi Arabia.
Strong practical experience in infrastructure and fire fighting systems.
Experience with large-scale construction/infrastructure projects is preferred.
Good knowledge of NFPA standards and relevant Saudi requirements.
Strong knowledge of fire fighting networks, fire pumps, hydrants, sprinklers, valves, and testing/commissioning.
Good communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Office; knowledge of BIM/Revit is an advantage.
Saudi Council of Engineers (SCE) registration is preferred/required.
Valid Saudi Iqama and transferable status preferred.
