We are looking for Operations Assistants to support its Transportation and Logistics Operations team during the implementation of a new Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system. During this transition period, both the new ERP system and the existing iLogistics system will operate simultaneously (parallel run). The selected candidates will play a key role in ensuring smooth day-to day operations by processing operational transactions, maintaining accurate records, validating data across both systems, and coordinating with internal teams to ensure uninterrupted business operations.
Key Responsibilities
• Support daily transportation and logistics operational activities.
• Process and update transportation transactions in both the ERP and iLogistics systems.
• Verify and maintain data accuracy between the new ERP system and the existing iLogistics system.
• Coordinate with transportation, dispatch, terminal, warehouse, and operations teams to ensure smooth workflow.
• Prepare and maintain shipment, delivery, transportation, and operational records.
• Monitor daily operational activities and promptly report any discrepancies or system-related issues.
• Assist the ERP implementation team by ensuring accurate operational data entry and validation.
• Generate daily, weekly, or ad hoc operational reports as required.
• Maintain proper documentation and filing of operational records.
• Follow company operational procedures, policies, and safety standards.
• Perform any additional operational support tasks assigned by the supervisor.
• Work efficiently under pressure and meet deadlines during the ERP transition period.
Requirements:
• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in: Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Commerce, Or any related field.
• 1-2 years of experience in Transportation, Logistics, Shipping, Fleet Operations, Terminal Operations, or Supply Chain.
• Hands-on experience using ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, Odoo, or similar).
• Experience using Transportation Management Systems (TMS) or logistics software.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Previous experience in logistics coordination or transportation operations is preferred.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong computer and data entry skills.
• Good command of the English language (spoken and written).
